PRINTING ADVICE
- If possible, the coated paper surface should only be handled minimally before being inked – as finger marks etc on the printing surface could adversely affect colour and image quality.
- When loading paper into printers, follow the printer manufacturers advice.
- Avoid laying down excess ink when printing, otherwise this can result in ink bleed.
- As long as care is taken, inked paper will tolerate being handled directly after printing. The paper will be ‘touch-dry’ directly after printing, but when more extensive general handling is required (laminating/mounting etc), we advise that printed images be left for 24 hours or overnight so they are completely dry, and any out-gassing of inks can be fully completed.
- As with all other inkjet materials, the paper should be protected from extremes of temperature and humidity as this will adversely affect image quality and colour.
